Morgan Moses, Chairman
Morgan Moses is an NFL football player and starting offensive tackle for the Washington Redskins franchise. He is a third year player who has already won multiple honors for both his athletic ability and community service.
Morgan won the Ed Block Courage Award from the NFL Players on his team and from the Ed Block Foundation. Morgan was also recognized by the NFL Players Association with the NFLPA Community Service Award for his work coaching local high schools in northern Virginia and mentoring scholar-athletes in Richmond.
Morgan is a native of Richmond and attended Meadowbrook High School where he graduated with below a C Average. He attended post-graduate educational prep at Fork Union, Virginia Academy and raised his grades and learned better study habits and time management skills. He was recruited for football by numerous university programs but chose to play for Mike London at UVA. Morgan distinguished himself as an all-ACC player. He also earned two degrees at University of Virginia with close to a B grade point average.
Morgan was chosen in the third round of the NFL Draft in 2014 and 66th overall.
Morgan launched the Morgan Moses Foundation two years ago and has provided his time and funding to “Motivating Others Through Education” (MOE). The Foundation is focused on service including mentorship and tutoring in Virginia and Maryland.
Morgan is engaged to his fiancé Jessica and has two children, a daughter and a son.
